Always my pleasure. We like to order udon noodles. Extremely tasty!
The Kaiseki is the sushi restaurant in Karlsruhe! Been there several times. The menus are particularly recommended. Friendly staff and great cuisine. Note price / performance is ok.
Very friendly service, incredibly delicious food! We recommend! Reserve in advance, very busy!
Very tasty food. The prices are good. The quality of the food is very good. Nice ambience, very clean as well as the toilets. The service is very nice Payment can be made by card or cash. Reservation required meals are also available to take away.
Top restaurant, very comfortable especially the chairs. Staff very authentic and humorous. If you want to eat something out of order, this is the place for you! When we visited there was even Desser on the house for no particular reason. 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
Delicious food at reasonable prices in an appealing atmosphere and a very friendly and attentive staff! We'll be back for sure!
Great service, very nice team. Delicious selection of dishes, the ramen soup was excellent. Highly recommended, but it is better to reserve by phone in advance.
For me one of the best sushis in Kalrsruhe.
Delicious, good options and portions for lunch menu. I think it is worthy and not expensive :)
Not authentic, but good presentation and reasonable price.
The service is very courteous. The food is very good. It is decorated and presented with a lot of love. The homemade teas are also very tasty. Price performance is great.
Visited Kaiseki on a Sunday evening after hearing some good reviews. I was very disappointed. We ordered the Abendmenü A for €28,90. Comes with Miso Suppe, different styles of appetizers and a roll with dessert. We ordered 1 Regenbogenrollen and 1 Königsgewand. The appetizers were very messy and thrown onto a plate cold, accompanied by soggy sweet potato tempura (forget about the crispy batter, this tasted as though it was fried the day before). Few dim sums and more deep fried options, nothing fresh or tasteful (this restaurant is showing more signs of having no ties to Japanese cuisine itself). The rolls were terribly made, soggy rice which made the seaweed leathery and inedible. The Eel was slimy both skin and flesh, it was not properly prepared and the sauces were extremely sweet with no balance of any other flavour, it was poured without any thought all over the rolls and... plate (why?). We had enough, but then we had to eat dessert. Everything came out of a can here (really going to charge for canned syrup fruit) and ice cream was cheap flavorless store bought topped with sandy burnt coconut. Unfortunately the lunch menu looks like a much better option as this dinner was nothing close for a bill over €70 with drinks.
Long waiting time, food is average.
Top. I passed by on the way to the hotel. I just had to go to the menu. Where do you get beef tongue and eel with Asians? I wasn't disappointed, it was very good.
I had reserved a table and a few friends came 15 mins late due to traffic. The person who attending the table got upset about it and was rude. I never expected this from a Japanese person and Service and quality of food was also bad. Overall decided never to go back there.
Great service, excellent food
Totally not Japanese flavor. Too much oil and too much sugar! The vegetables were not fresh. And I’m pretty mad that they only take cash but didn’t mentioned earlier.
Very poor hygiene. There were crumbs on my cutlery and the table was sticky. As a sushi lover, I am very disappointed with the stuff that they put in front of me, it tasted like old rubber. They are also Chinese and Vietnamese - not Japanese - and unfriendly at that. The culmination of it all was when I caught the waitress gossiping. You explained to a German colleague that a regular customer had grown fat and laughed your head off about it.
Beautiful restaurant, the food is well presented and really tasty. In addition, the service was nice and personable. Only the toilets were a little dirty. Still a clear recommendation! :)
The food tasted really good! But be careful: Unfortunately you cannot pay by card here. The staff didn't tell us that until the end of our stay. This argued that there were no card symbols (VISA, etc.) to be seen at the entrance, but in my opinion that is not enough, especially since card payments are possible almost everywhere nowadays and in such an expensive restaurant one would assume that one would can pay by card.
Our selected dishes were very good. Old 3 sushi were awesome! Our favorite is and remains the "Karlsruher Rolle". Very friendly hosts who are happy to provide explanations about food and drinks in response to questions. It was a complete surprise for us, as sake is comparable to our mulled wine and is also drunk warm. All in all, we had a very nice and delicious evening here again.
Nice place to enjoy Sushi & co. Friendly staff, great room decorations and very good authentic Japanese food.
Sushi is usually fresh and good, but always depends on who is making it. I always order the same dish and can tell which chef is in based on the quality of the cuts, the components, and the visual arrangement of the plate. Their online ordering system also doesn't contain all of the options you see in the restaurant's menu, but if you know your dish name and price, you can still order over the phone for pick-up.
Tasteless food. Does not feel fresh. Poor service. Food doesn't match the description (like the tuna tartare, well it's 10% of tasteless, unfresh tuna, the rest is mayonnaise with avocado). Fish eggs (like caviar) all over to give a some kind of fishy taste (ew). Expensive as well. Had to cancel some of the orders and get a random 5€ kebab next-door to feel satisfied. I waited 20min to get the bill after asking for it and guess what? No credit card sir... Only cash... Worse Japanese restaurant I've even been. I cannot believe a second that this restaurant is so well reviewed.
Ambience Bit trashy. But neat in itself. service Very nice. I felt a little fake but definitely always friendly. Were two and my meal came at least 5 minutes after my company. Since it was not really full I can not understand it and therefore only 4 stars from me. eat Delicious!
They are China and they said we are Japan 😄 the sushi was good but the waiter was rude. I don’t think so if I come again.
Just the perfect restaurant we needed. The food was really really nice. The salmon was just perfect, melting in the mouth.
Perfectly arranged! We can only say positive things about our visit to the Kaiseki. What immediately strikes you is how much effort you put into preparing the dishes. The card is knitted in such a way that you can put together your own menu like a modular system. But you don't have to, there are also individual main dishes. Whether soup, starter or main course, everything was very good with us. The service was very nice and attentive. The dishes are brought in a reasonable order. It is advisable to order different dishes and starters if there are two of you, so you can try the other and get more variants to taste. The interior of the restaurant is also very tasteful and modern. Rather not the typical establishment of the Asian localities as you know them and yet you immediately notice that you have not landed with a Greek. An all round successful visit, next time we will eat sushi!
The quality of the fish was ok, but nothing special. The service was fine but I was told that it is possible to pay by card, but actually the machine was not working.
The waiters are very respectful, the food is really good , and worth the money
Really good Japanese food and pleasant service!
Unforgetable experience :D
Love it <3
The seaweed was not edible, and the fried octopus had no taste. Service was good. Overall disappointed.
Fresh food, pleasant and attentive service, big variety of choices.
I really wanted to like this place but can't give it 5 stars. Beat part was the food flavor. 5 stars for that. You should probably make a reservation as it gets busy around 730/8pm. We stayed about two hours and they were rushing us a bit which lost them 1 star. Also, our bill was around 70€ and cash only was kind of a bummer. Who doesnt accept card? It's 2019. Also, it was difficult to understand the waitress as her German accent was very heavy and she didn't know what was included in their main appetizer plate in their combo meal for 1, which could be problematic for people with food allergies. Miso soup was only lukewarm, and usually at restaurants it's boiling hot. I probably won't visit again. Side note, service was good, people were friendly.
Very good! At least for the one time I experienced, the service staff was very kind, food tastes authentic and delicious. Also important that it's very reasonably priced!
Very good food
Offer diversified Japanese/Korean dishes for lunch. Taste and dishes deco very much close to Japan. Will try dinner next time.
Very tasty food, the service is also super friendly!
Excellent
Interesting and good culinary experience. However, prices are a bit high and the service seemed a bit overwhelmed in the well-stocked restaurant. All in all, however, a recommendable restaurant when it comes to Japanese dishes.
Very nice atmosphere. The evening menus are priced very fair, just under 30 euros for "quasi" 4 courses, consisting of a Miso soup, second 9 "Vorspeißchen" to taste, third, a main course and a dessert. We came very tired from the restaurant, even have something to take home. The service was very friendly, accommodating and always had a smile on our lips, we were warmly welcomed. Gladly again.
A very nice and efficiently run restaurant not far from the Karlsruhe city centre. The Food was very good, the service relatively fast (even though it was very busy). I loved the authentic decoration of the place. On top of that the prices were reasonable.
Best ramen in Karlsruhe from what I've tried so far, however I still felt like the quality was not as high as it could have been. Also had some tea. Relatively inexpensive.
The isakaya style grilled dishes were good. Although I personally didn't appreciate the peanut taste of the grilled aubergine. But he Ramen was just fail fail fail. Impossible to imagine how bad. The noodles were severely undercooked. The broth weak and the steak (WTF?) side was cut into impossibly large chunks and very tough. Califlour pieces were also undercooked and cut too big. Also stay far away from the summer rolls.
Chinese japanische. Chinese chef try to make Japanese style of restaurants. Not real Japanese but better than other Japanese restaurants in Karlsruhe. If you have been to Japan and knew real sushi, you will disappoint.
Good food. Choose the daily menu.
One of the Best Japanese Restaurants in Karlsruhe
